Yes. Your Therapist has an ethical responsibility to maintain confidentiality. However, by law, your Therapist is mandated to report any form of abuse or neglect, and/or and reported ideation or plan to harm yourself or others.
You have 24/7 access to requesting a session at the first available time, however your therapist does not have on-call availability. For crisis questions and concerns that desire more immediate attention, Email therapy services can be submitted at anytime, and your therapist will respond within a 2 hour time frame (between 8am - 10pm EST). PLEASE NOTE: ANY CLIENT WANTING TO REPORT SUICIDAL/HOMICIDAL IDEATION OR PLAN SHOULD CONTACT 911 IMMEDIATELY.
